Sensible underwear is in stock at Still Life thanks to Pansy, the organic cotton underwear company designed and sewn in California. Founders Laura Schoorl and Rachel Corry set out to create the ideal underwear: minimal, sturdy, beautiful and locally-made comfort that anyone would feel good wearing. Their dream during a road trip soon became a reality with design sketches, a business plan and soon thereafter Pansy was born. Not only is Pansy underwear beautiful, it is sustainable. Schoorl and Corry have made the entire production process transparent: the organic cotton is grown and milled in North Carolina, sewn and dyed (toxin-free!) in California. Neither gratuitous nor grandmotherly, their cuts are simple, feminine, and playful.
