Meticulously crafted in Tuscany, we are exceptionally proud to welcome President’s to Still Life For Him for Fall 2012. Combining influences of classic Americana with Italian precision craftsmanship, this is without question our most detail-focussed, quality-driven brand available at the shop this season. We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this smaller, family run brand since we first saw the line back in February, the only stockist in Canada carrying the line, we’re all ready fielding requests for styles from across the country and are excited to watch the brand find a home at the shop.
President’s is proud to belong to the great tradition of Tuscan leather and textiles manufacturers. Operating out of their very own, family-run factory in Tuscany the President’s brand, registered in 1957, is a natural heir to the long-standing tradition of Italian technique and style. Designed by Guido Biondi, himself a third-generation Italian fashion legend, 60 years of successful heritage combining innovation with sartorial tradition goes into every piece that leaves the factory. Biondi designed this FW12 collection for President’s for the contemporary gentleman using the most exquisite fabrics and materials, producing the range entirely in Florence, Tuscany, with the absolute best Italian craftsmanship and traditional techniques.
The President’s concept is simple: steadily walk the line of fashion and function, offering functional clothing that has subtle, but legitimate, fashion sensibilities. Mixing both the functional clothing world with high-end, Italian craftsmanship and fashion detailing, President’s gives their customers freedom to express themselves in quality styles without looking like they’re playing ‘dress-up’.
