As the season progresses and new styles become available we inevitably end up as one of the strongest stockists of Nudie Jeans in all of Canada; with a strong brand representation across the full Nudie Jeans fit family, we proudly try and stock their range of dry and selvage denim in enough fits to ensure just about every guy walking through the doors will find a style that works for him.
This first delivery from the Swedish denim champions brings a three brand new denim options into the store in three of our most popular Nudie Jeans fits (ranging from the super slim to the relaxed tapered). Keep reading for descriptions of the arrivals and some insight into what exceptional heights Nudie Jeans aims to reach in 2013.
- Tape Ted Organic 16 Dips Dry: Turkish 11.5 oz power stretch made with organic cotton. 16 dips give it a deep, dark blue shade. Evident red cast. Light blue weft. Usually the power stretch comes with a rinse to obtain maximal stretch ability but not this time. This fabric will break in beautifully. After the first wash the denim will get more elastic and comfortable. Nudie Jeans orange threads all over and orange back pocket embo. Organic copper trims and pocket lining. 99% organic cotton/1% elastane. Tape Ted has a long rise with low back yoke. Ted is slim from the hip and thighs and tapers down to a narrow leg opening.
- Grim Tim Organic Dry Navy: Nudie’s very own 12.7oz beautiful dry comfort stretch denim from Turkey. It’s clean and flat with really nice, deep dark blue black shade. Nudie Jeans orange threads all over except for the back pocket embo that is navy. Organic copper trims and pocket lining. 99% organic cotton/1% elastane. Grim Tim is a straight slim fit with normal rise. It’s straight from hips through thigh and parallel from the knee to the leg opening.
- Grim Tim Organic Dry Selvage: Top quality 13.5oz ridged selvage denim from Japan. This is the original Nudie selvage denim from the day they were born. It’s woven with an orange selvage stripe, a feature made exclusively for Nudie Jeans Co. This fabric is a right hand construction with slubby yarn and a tight weaving. On this style you find the selvage edge coin pocket, organic silver trims and organic pocket lining. Nudie Jeans orange threads all over and orange back pocket embo. 100% organic cotton. Grim Tim is a straight slim fit with normal rise. It’s straight from hips through thigh and parallel from the knee to the leg opening.
- Hank Rey Organic Dry Black: 12.75oz organic twill from Turkey with black threads in both warp and weft. The jeans are sewn with black threads all over and have a black back pocket embo. Organic gunmetal trims and pocket lining. 100% organic cotton. The straight and regular Hank Rey has a normal rise and a low back yoke. It’s straight from the hip down to the knee where it tapers down slightly at the leg opening. The perfect Nudie Jean style for guys who need room in the thigh but still want a slightly tapered look.
