This season has all ready seen Nudie Jeans achieve 100% Fair Trade Organic Certification within their range of denim, and with this delivery we’re now stocked up with some simple, everyday garments from the brand under the banner of the Backbone Collection using the same Fair Trade Organic Cotton basics. All styles feature different details, but the orange thread runs through the entire range. - Orange Thread Patch Sweatshirt: Great, grainy grey melange fleece. It’s also comfy, open, light and unbrushed. Insert at neck and elbow patches in dry piqué. The patches are stitched with orange thread. Ecru flatlock covers the seams. 100% cotton. Available at Still Life For Him.
- Organic Poplin Gunnar Shirt: Cool, flat closely woven poplin with rustling handle. It’s made with organic cotton. It reaches its full potential after the first wash. Two-button cuff. Chest pockets with flaps. Customized buttons. An orange thread has been used for the top buttonhole inside the placket and for bottom hem overlock and chain stitch. Slightly rounded bottom hem.100% organic cotton. Regular, slightly shaped fit. Available at Still Life For Him.
- Khaki Tight Dark Slate: Sometimes the outside is better than the inside. This is the case here where it gives better wash effects. It also has a nice, very light horizontal streakiness. Great, dry, cool hand. Split waistband with classic V-shape at centre back and orange bar tack to secure the seam. Pockets in side seam and a small, jetted coin pocket. At back welt pockets where the pocket bag is marked with blind stitches. This style also features lined waistband, orange buttonhole, silver button, zip fly, the fit is based on Tight Long John. 98% cotton/2% elastane. Available at Still Life For Her.
- Grim Tim Dry Brown Selvage: Lovely lightweight dry Turkish denim. The brown weft gives a warm shade. The surface is smooth and the twill construction is open. This makes it comfortable even though it’s dry. Nudie Jeans orange threads all over except for the back pocket embo that is faded indigo. On this style you find the selvage edge coin pocket, organic silver trims and organic pocket lining. 100% organic cotton. Available at Still Life For Him.
- Grim Tim Organic Dry Navy: Nudie’s very own 11 oz Turkish power stretch made with organic cotton. It’s a beautiful fabric with clean, flat surface and great dry hand feel. The darkness in the shade comes from sulpha that has been added to give it a less red cast. The look is dry, but the jeans have been rinsed to get maximum elasticity effect. Nudie Jeans orange threads all over except for the back pocket embo that is navy. Organic copper trims and pocket lining. 99% organic cotton/1% elastane. Available at Still Life For Him.
