This weekend saw the debut collection from Australian based women’s footwear label, Sol Sana at Still Life For Her. Since 2010 the brand has focussed on high quality leathers, fine materials and trims, merging high fashion styling with comfort, wearability and affordability.

Head designer and creator, Sara Caverley believes in weaving together the vintage and the new to create fun, bold pieces with a nod to the high end runway styles gracing the international catwalks. Sara’s concept for Sol Sana stemmed from a sizeable gap within the global women’s footwear market where high-quality, moderately-priced leather footwear tends to be overlooked.

This first delivery of the brand sees three styles arriving in Victoria at Still Life For Her. Recent menswear staple footwear details like the monk strap are reattributed with a wooden heel on the staff-favourite tan Denver Boot and again with a pine wedge on the stunning Stu Wedge. Ready for a night dancing or to be styled in head-to-toe all black everything, the Fabric Wedge is all black with leather trim and detailing bringing it into your expanding footwear collection with confidence in quality.
