Huge footwear debut today with Camper arriving at Still Life For Her for the very first time! We are really excited to finally begin working with this fantastic, creative, quality-focussed shoe range and the immediate reception at the women’s shop has been terrific. Camper is more than a shoe company, it is the dream of a Majorcan family who have been manufacturing shoes since 1877. It is a Mediterranean dream that establishes a way of being, of living and of feeling. Their dream combines traditional roots with an industrial vocation and has lead Camper throughout the world. Camper shoes have a spirit and personality of their own, presenting a diverse range of footwear that combines design with imagination and functionality. They are unique and original, and constantly surprise. The slogan “Walk. Don’t Run” expresses the Camper philosophy of slow living and their appreciation and attention to detail. - Mil Oxford, Black: A black oxford shoe with laces, the Mil Oxford features a rubber outsole which provides a firm grip and is made of tanned full grain leather for a cool vintage look.
- Mil Ankle Boot, Black: The Mil Ankle Boot comes as a black bootie with laces. A classic English approach with a thinner rubber outsole, the Mil Ankle Boot is a perfect city boot made of tanned leather for a cool vintage look.
- Mil Ruched Boot, Berry: The Mil Ruched Boot comes in a soft red tanned leather for a slouchy vintage look. It also features a rubber outsole for a good grip.
- Woody Pull On Boot, Brown: Woody is a classic shoe with a vintage-bohemian touch. It features a removable anatomical EVA insole for extra comfort and TPU injected leather outsole that makes it more flexible. Woodie comes as a dark brown bootie made of full grain leather with a soft waxed finish. It features a removable EVA insole which provides comfort and a leather outsole for that natural look.
Camper is the living history of a family business from a great family of innovators, who for more than a century and involving four generations have dedicated themselves to the footwaear industry. Camper was born in 1975. In order to fully understand the very core of Camper, its values and commitment, one has to go back more than 120 years. In 1877, Antonio Fluxa, a skilled cobbler, set sail for England to investigate new methods of industrial manufacturing. Upon his return, he gathered together the best leather craftsmen in Inca (Mallorca) and introduced them to the first machines used to manufacture shoes. An impressive symbol of enlightenment, an innovative spirit transmitted down the line to future generations, a revolutionary resolve, a deep respect for their preofession, for quality products, and above all function.
